Do you offer personal saddle pad fit advice and assistance?
|
Absolutely! We will happliy help you access saddle fit and saddle pad fit both before and after buying a CSI Saddlepad. We normally ask you start out by sending us some photos of your horse. Email the images to csidonna@gmail.com Here is a list of photos I'd like to see to evaluate saddle and/or saddlepad fit: (To get good relevant photos, place the horse on level ground in an even stance.) 1) A photo of the horse's back with no saddle or pad. One from each side. 2) One photo looking down the horse's back from behind and above. Use a bucket or the fence to help get a good angle where we can determine if the horse is even or uneven behind the wither. 3) Two photos of the horse with just the saddle, not cinched. One from the mount side and one looking down the gullet from the front. |
| Does the CSI Saddlepad come with a guarantee? | Yes. All of our Flex-Plate Saddlepads come with a 30 day money back guarantee. And, yes, we'll take back pads that are dirty or have been used. |
| How long will a CSI pad last? | We have test pads that have logged 18,000 hours on the outer shells! Chances are the durable outer portion of your pad will be with you a very long time. The inserts do wear out with normal use. If you take reasonable care of it, your insert should last one to three years depending on how much you ride. Inserts are replaceable separately and for just a fraction the cost of the whole pad. Replacing your wool pad (whether it's a CSI insert or not) every year or two is almost always necessary. Our performance horse consultant, Rhonda Martin, suggest you replace other (non-CSI) wool felt pads every 8 months to one year depending upon use because of compression. The CSI Flex-Plate has been shown to extend the useful life of wool felt by up to double because of the way it distributes pressure points. When thinking about your CSI Saddlepad investment, think of it this way: You buy the outer shell with the Flex-Plate as a long term investment and the liner gets replaced just like you would a normal wool pad. When you compare our replacement price ($150) versus pads of a similar quality, you'll find our inserts are very competitively priced. |
